ouch bag

my friend elaine told me about this awesome idea.
is your kid addicted to band aids...even if there is no blood. do they make everything better? howie used to think he needed a band aid for everything. not anymore. i made him an ouch bag! all it is is a 5 inch square cotton fabric bag filled with dry wheat. (dry rice would work too!) keep it in the freezer so it is always cold when needed! this thing really does work miracles!
we have 3 now. that is how awesome they are!

So cute! When I was little we had a Boo Boo Bunny. It was just a towel rubberbanded to look like a bunny that you stuffed an ice cube in.

That's such a good idea - I'm going to use it! I'm soo tired of hearing "owie". Now I'll just tell her to get an owie bag out :-) Thanks for sharing!

I love the one with the first aid sign on it. Great idea. Do you think you could make a bag that stops kids from saying NO all the time? Or maybe a tantrum bag?

That is really cute. I think my daughter would love to have one. I think I might try that out. Hopefully she will like it better than bandaids
